A man driving a semi-truck hit two police patrol cars near Ritzville, Washington. No one was seriously injured, but one of the patrolmen was taken to the local hospital after suffering a few injuries, reports a NY Truck Accident Lawyer. It is unclear at this time if the mechanical failure caused this accident or if the man driving the truck is to blame. There was no evidence of alcohol in the accident. According to a Lawyer, two police patrol cars were sitting side-by-side on U.S. 395 when the accident occurred. The semi-truck went over the center divider and struck both cars. Truck hits bridge on Onondaga Lake Parkway

A man is given a ticket due to him crashing into the CSX Bridge while driving his truck along the Orondaga Lake Parkway.

The driver was employed to transport computer equipment and was driving a rental truck, explains a Law Firm. The truck driver lost control for some reason and struck the bridge on Wednesday afternoon.

The local sheriff said that the driver of the truck was a 60 year old man. However, instead of stopping to report the accident like he should have done, he continued driving for over a mile. He then stopped in a large parking lot.

School Bus Almost Hit by Coal Truck

A bus carrying a group of high school students nearly collided with a coal truck carrying about 20 tons of coal. Luckily, the bus driver was able to swerve the bus in time and missed the truck completely. Debris and dirt hit the bus and caused the windshield to shatter which caused minor injuries to the driver, the students were not harmed. Students credit the bus driver for acting quickly and saving their lives.

After the accident, school officials were called to the scene along with law enforcement and medical personnel to assess if anyone suffered any major injuries. The only injuries reported were minor injuries to the bus driver’s face. The parents of students were called and students were safely transported back to their high school, says a New York Truck Accident Lawyer. Students were then given the option of taking the rest of the day off or attending classes at the high school.

It was reported that the coal truck was to blame for the accident. The coal truck swerved into the opposite lane as the bus was approaching. It is unclear why the coal truck was in the wrong lane. Water Tanker Truck Crash Injures Man

A man in Towanda was injured on Monday as a result of a serious traffic accident. The accident involved a water tanker truck and caused injuries which required hospital treatment. However, his symptoms were fairly minor and this meant that he could be discharged the very same day, explained the NY Truck Accident Lawyer

The accident happened on Monday afternoon. The injured man was rushed to the hospital’s emergency room where his injuries were evaluated. The man is in a stable condition although will require ongoing medical treatment.

Semi Backs Up Over Man in Parking Lot

It’s hard to imagine how someone could backup over a person, but that is what happened in this case. The deceased was killed in a parking lot, reported the New York City Truck Accident Lawyerby a trucker who was trying to move his unit to another spot.

As he was backing up, he didn’t see the man walking behind him. Unfortunately, the trucker backed over him. EMS crews responded, but the man was dead by the time they arrived. Logging Truck hit by car Kills Two and Injures Three

The weather took a turn for the worse in this case and when it did, the consequences were not pretty.

Freezing mist was falling on the highway and those traveling it were hard-pressed to get any traction. They even had a hard time going the designated speed limit, as the road conditions were so treacherous. Further back down the highway, five people were headed north in a Pontiac G5. On another road, up ahead of the Pontiac, was an empty logging truck and trailer just pulling out onto the highway and about to start heading south.

The Pontiac had no idea the truck was there, as they were climbing a hill. When they hit the top of the crest and realized the truck was right in front of them, they tried to slow their forward momentum down. The ice was too bad and the wheels spun out of control, sending the vehicle directly into the path of the logging truck.

Coal Truck Rolls Over

No one is sure what happened yet. But there is likely to be an investigation into what caused a coal truck to hit a ditch and roll over, killing the lone occupant, a 32-year old volunteer firefighter with 16-years experience and a history of working in the trucking industry.

Reporters in Hampshire, Illinois, detail an account of a semi-truck collision that set off a chain-reaction that resulted in eight deaths.

According to officials responding to the emergency, a semi-truck plowed into a tour bus on a Wednesday afternoon in 2003 on Interstate 90 in Illinois. The chain reaction that ensued left eight members of an international women’s group dead.

The Chicago-based International Women’s Associates offers support for women from overseas and in the diplomatic field. It has about 450 members from 60 countries. The group had taken a day trip from Chicago to Rockford. The 22 passengers had gone to see a Japanese floral exhibit.

Semi-truck Crashes Into Concrete Barrier, Shuts down I-10

In the middle of last week, Wednesday to be exact, police in El Paso, Texas worked for nearly 4 ½ hours to clear the I-10 after a four vehicle collision closed it down.

In the early morning hours before the sun had even gotten up, El Paso police were called to the wreckage of the serious vehicle accident that involved one tractor trailer.

When the emergency calls were made, the callers called it a ‘hit-and-run.’ At the scene, authorities were unable to discern if one of the four present vehicles had caused the collision.
